| Description | 2 volumes of travel diaries of Sir William Gell (1777-1836). The diaries record a trip across Europe, through countries now in France, Germany, Austria, Italy and Greece. The first volume of the diaries includes some ink and watercolour illustrations although these illustrations peter out through the second volume.
Accompanying the diaries are some secondary sources, including a summary of part of the journey through Eastern Europe and an article by Joško Bracanović in Croatian about the diaries and Gell's travels.
