Title
Pinney Family Domestic Papers
Description
These are the domestic papers of the Pinney family, pertaining to their business and family life in England.
The Pinney family owned estates in England including Racedown at Pilsdon, Dorset, and the Georgian House in Great George Street, Bristol. Their domestic papers concern many areas of the family's activities in England, and may contain: personal and business correspondence, estate deeds, political papers; accounts; legal papers; personal notes, diaries and other papers.
The domestic papers are currently grouped into six series partly based on content, but also on previously assigned numbering and alphabetical labels which have so far been retained. These series have not yet been recatalogued, however more detailed paper lists are available for some of the series. Please enquire for more information about individual boxes.
