Volume also covers first 3 weeks after the opening: selection of 'lady scholars' by the Evening Class Association: Miss Pakeman, Miss Pease, Miss Meaden and Miss Thomas, as well as decisions such as the aquisition of desks for W. Rowley's classes.

Includes list of members of Council, May 1876 & April 1876. Majority of the volume is empty.
