| Description | Volume contains minutes of the Bristol Medical Cricket and Football Club (October 1892 - October 1901) general and special meetings, as well as those of its successor University College Bristol Athletics Club (October 1901 - July 1909). Minutes cover the election of officers to the committee, selection of captains and teams, arrangements for matches, match results, management of subscriptions to the club, awarding of caps and badges, and receipts and expenses of the club.
Volume also includes the changing of club colours to 'old gold' and 'dark blue', 22 May 1894; lists of names of the different officers on the committee during this period and a draft of proposed rules for the University College Bristol Athletics Club. Included loose is a hand-written list of University's Rowing Club crew members, with details of the race on the back, c.1903. |
