| Description | This sub-series contains correspondence from readers relating to wide range of topics, arranged by year and Spare Rib Issue number. Many concern issues raised by readers either in response to articles or due to something happening in their lives which they want advice on or help dealing with. Some just want to share their experiences with other feminists. Many of these letters were considered by the Spare Rib Collective for publication on the readers' letters page, and generally the letters have been annotated to indicate whether they were published or not.
Because of the sensitive nature of the correspondence, which includes personal information on identifiable individuals, access to these papers is restricted. CLOSED FOR 84 YEARS
