Monica was an early member of the Women's Liberation Movement in Bristol and founded the Women and Contraception Campaign (WACC) in Bristol. The papers contain material regarding her involvement with Feminist politics locally and nationally from the early 1970s. This includes files on the Women’s Liberation Movement, the Wages for Housework campaign, abortion, contraception, Anti-War movement, Lesbian & Gay Rights and Anti-Nuclear campaigns. The papers also cover her writing, research on spirituality and work as an artist.
