Brown cardboard box containing ‘Women in literature’, 2 audio cassettes, 4 film strips in canisters, and notes on the publication which was produced in 1976 by Educational Audio Visual Inc., Pleasantville, New York. This edition previously belonged to Bristol Polytechnic Libraries

Stuck into the lid of the box is a greetings card with a Chinese painting of people and tractors looking at a notice board. Inside reads ‘From the Chinese Shop in Ambleside, Cumbria! With a stamp from the Feminist Archive, Orchard Leigh House, Shepton Mallet, Somerset. A post it note in Jane Hargreaves hand reads ‘Half the Sky card, Don’t know its provenance (Not from Helen T.)but it should be here! |
