Hawk steamer detained before sailing, liability if detained in unloading, arrangement with owners, approval of site plan and description received, space and prospect of further site nearby, plans for further patients, kitchens required, buildings to be secured due to windy site, landing places, contrast with Scutari, large flat lighters for landing from ships, prevention of sending buildings to Smyrna, criticism of latter site, assumption that Brunton's site near Ghelmez, etc. 21 May 1855.
