Meeting with Isaac concerning his plan for simple house of separate panels put together to form a hut, no opinion on such for small buildings such as travelling settlers' huts, etc., unsuitable for hospitals requiring transport in quantities, framed panels occupying more cargo space, strength and materials and less portable than separate materials, etc., inability to report on further schemes unless good scheme proposed. 23 February 1855. |
