| Description | The table lists the weight in tons of various named parts of the ship and the total. The table has been divided up under the headings Ship and Machinery, Boilers &c. The sheet has been folded in half to create four pages. The table covers pages 1 and 3 while the second page has a long note or insertion clarifying the need for a quantity of ballast at a certain point in the ship. A pencil note at the head of the document reads "Copy into E.S. N. Record Book" (although there is not a copy of the estimate in the letter-books that Brunel kept). |
