| Description | The invoices list the date and the quantity of iron plates received at John Scott Russell's shipyard and the weight of iron and are signed off by J. Fraser Campbell, chief storekeeper at Millwall Iron Works, Poplar. The invoice covers the dates from 15 January to 31 July 1855. There are some pencil annotations and the quantities delivered from 4 to 14th July 1855 have been crossed through with an annotation indicating that these deliveries were charged in a previous period and consequent alterations have been made to the totals. |
