DescriptionThe note is written in pencil on blue paper and details the cost of labour and the assumptions made when forming the estimate and highlights things which are specifically excluded from the estimate. The note also covers the assumptions made in drawing up the estimates for the painting and Hepworth's belief that the actual work can be done for less than the estimate.
The sheet is folded in half creating four pages. The first page has Hepworth's note with the estimate. The third page has a list of materials that will be needed for all tasks and Hepworth's estimate as to the total cost of materials. the other two pages are blank. This may be a draft version of Folio 52.
