| Description | The specification is a draft with considerable pencil annotations on the first page. The specification lists separately each of the tasks needed to complete the laying of the decks. The specification covers preparing and fixing deck pads, preparing deck planking for the upper, middle, lower, raised and large decks. There are also tasks relating to the completion of forecastle, preparing and fixing the waterways, stanchions and bulwark rails, finishing off the skylights, companions, staircases, ventilators and Captain's House. There are also entries for work on the officer's cabin and sailor's berths, kitchens, store rooms as well as small pieces of woodwork relating to the paddle boxes, Captain's bridge, ladders, signal boxes, steering wheels, stands, raised platforms, rigging, riding bits, chain stoppers, chocks and battening. There are also entries for caulking decks and stopping decks with white lead. The two sheets have been folded in half to create four pages on each sheet.
