DescriptionWritten from 7 Portland Street, Commercial Row. The letter requests a personal interview with Brunel to discuss Arrive's patented steam safety valve arrangements. The letter also describes the steam safety valve, which Arrive believes doubles the effectiveness of the usualy safety valve and discusses some of the details of its construction. An annotation across the upper left hand corner explains that Brunel has too many present engagments to allow him meeting with Arrive.
