| Title | Copy of a letter from Messers R, W.H. and R.H. Tindall to John Yates, secretary of the Eastern Steam Navigation Company |
| Description | Written from 4 Clements Lane, London. The letter explains that Tindalls have made all the enquiries they can about the hydraulic press which was damaged during the launching of the Great Eastern but have had no news of it from John Scott Russell. They are therefore sending Yates an account for the replacement of the cylinder and ask for a date when they can collect a cheque for the money. |
