| Description | The letter sends Yates a statement of the number of passengers who were included in the specifications and explains how the contracts for finishing the Great Eastern deal with the ship's boats and also sends Yates a list of the boats that Captain Harrison believes necessary. Following the letter are two lists, referred to in the letter, with details of the number and sizes of boats that need to be included in the Great Eastern as well as the number of beds and sofas needed for each of the three classes of passenger which are to be included in the fitting out of the ship. |
