Title	Letter from J. H. Yates, secretary of the Great Ship Company, to Isambard Kingdom Brunel
Description	Written from 79 Lombard Street, London. The letter acknowledges the receipt of Brunel's letter to the Directors relating the contracts for the completion of the ship but explains that circumstances have changed since the original specifications were written, particularly with regard to the proposed method of payment, and the company no longer wish to be held to a given price and also explains that they do not wish the surveyor appointed to oversee the completion of the ship be connected, either directly or indirectly, with the people that Brunel has recommended to do the work.
