Title	Letter from J. Bennett to R. J. R. Campbell
Description	The letter acknowledges receipt of Campbell's letter of 7 September, written from the Great Eastern off Long Reach, and expresses Bennett's certainty that when Brunel is well enough to be given Campbell's letter he will be very pleased to hear at the success of the voyage so far and at the Director's sympathy over Brunel's illness. The letter also expresses Bennett's certainty that Brunel will be expressing congratulations towards the Directors of the Great Ship company for their hard work.
