| Description | The part letter requests Yates contact Mr Campbell and impress on him Brunel's opinions of the unlikelihood of the ship's being ready to sail in the spring of 1859 and asks him also to modify the promises of the ship's speed. The text has been crossed through in pencil. The previous page appears to have been cut out leaving only the margin and several numbered folios appear to have been removed. Folios 1-3 are blank and the next complete folio is Folio 16, with the crossed through letter. |
