| Description | The letter returns the tracing given to him without altering the position of the boilers but with pencil annotations marking the direction of the chimney and requests two beams be removed which are blocking the smoke box. The letter explains how Brunel wants the chimney located and installed and hopes that Langdon will expedite the work as much as possible. The letter also requests the return of the tracings that Brunel gave Mr Blake for the super-heating apparatus and the list of work to be included in the installation of the apparatus. |
