| Title | Letter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to Montague, Leverson & Hawley |
| Description | The letter explains that the Great Ship Company are sending three disputed points to the independent arbitrators which are all engineering related and Brunel supposes that he will be the principal witness on these matters but that Mr Campbell and Mr Jackson also think that they will be able to supply valuable evidence. Brunel suggests that it would be valuable if Montague, Leverson & Hawley identify what evidence Campbell & Jackson can give before they are called and if they can advise as to the interpretation of the contract with John Scott Russell and the likely way the case will be conducted. |
