DescriptionWritten from Broughton Copper works, Manchester. The letter confirms that Morris has visited Mr Oram who has promised to send the Press that Campbell wanted and the arrangements that he had made with Oram for sending out presses and also the visit that he made to Freeland and the terms that Freeland offered for the use of the press. The letter also discusses Morris' visit to and conversations that he had with other machinists including Peel, Williams and Peel, and the possible arrangements that could be made with them and confirms that he will visit Bolton to see other presses about which he has heard.
