DescriptionWritten from 13 Gresham Street, London. The minute covers a resolution that no more than 300 pounds per week will be spent on the remaining work on the Eastern Steam Navigation Company's ship including preparing and fixing the top gallant, forecastle and bulwarks, preparing and fixing the iron decks and the wooden decks, turning and preparing the main shafts and finishing the paddle engines, preparing and fixing the sponson stages, getting the funnels, paddle boxes and other materials on board, repairing the plates for the masts, fixing the side lights and the plates for the rudders and finishing and glazing the skylights and completing the two saloons, which is currently being done.
