DescriptionWritten from Woolpit Parsonage, Suffolk. The letter expresses Page's patriotic interest in the success of Brunel's Leviathan and his hope for a speedy resolution to the problems of the launch and offers Page's solutions to the problem. Page suggests digging a trench from the bow of the ship pointing downstream and then applying pressure to the stern to push the ship into the trench.
