| Title | Letter from A Berkshire Incumbent to Isambard Kingdom Brunel |
| Description | Written from the Post Office, Reading. The letter offers the writer's suggestions for reducing the friction of the cradles of the leviathan ship on the launching ways. The writer's suggestion is to use several hundred tons of cannonballs arranged in squares to smooth the hitches in the launching ways and create a smooth railway. Below the signature the writer explains his certainty that once Brunel can get the ship moving, then it will move under its own power and gives his calculations of the pressure that will be put on the hull as she enters the water and the velocity. |
