| Title | Letter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to B. Leslie |
| Description | Written from 18 Duke Street, Westminster, London. The letter confirms that Brunel telegraphed Leslie about purchasing two presses from Freelands if they can be sent immediately and then travelling on to Glasgow. The letter also comments on Leslie's other potential sources for different sized hydraulic presses and some questions that need to be asked with regards to the presses. Brunel explains that Leslie needs to finish his search and get the information to Brunel before the Christmas holidays and comments on Brunel's fear that the Christmas holidays on the railways and at the shipyard will sorely affect Brunel's progress. |
