The letter also passes on Brunel's warmest thanks for Bold's offer to provide a quantity of mooring chain if needed it but that Brunel has been able to acquire the extra mooring chain from the Admiralty and explains that the chain that broke during the initial, failed launch was an old river mooring chain. |
