TitleLetter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to Messers Watt & Co
DescriptionWritten from 18 Duke Street, Westminster, London. The letter comments on several matters relating to the fitting of the screw engine. In particular, Brunel is concerned at what he thinks are some very heavy iron plates being delivered for the engine platforms. Brunel also comments on the construction of the boiler doors and the arrangements of the blow off cocks and reminds them about the waste steam pipes which Brunel wants done in the same way as the Paddle Engine Boilers.
