Description	Written from the Machinery Department, Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, London. The letter offers Anderson's readiness to help if he can be any use at all to Brunel in the matter of the launching of the Great Eastern and invites Brunel to call on him for any help that he might need. There is a pencil annotation regarding the date of the note, which is also written in pencil rather than ink.
