DescriptionWritten from 18 Duke Street, Westminster, London. The letter remarks that Brunel will soon want Braidwood's assistance with his floating engine and asks if Brunel needs to make an application to any public body to request the use of the engine and also wonders if Braidwood will be obliged, if there is a fire while he is assisting with the launch of the Eastern Steam Navigation Company's ship, to leave the launch and attend to the fire.
