Title	Letter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to Messers Watt & Co
Description	Written from 18 Duke Street, Westminster, London. The letter announces that Alexander McLennan, lately Chief Engineer of the Great Britain has been appointed as Chief Engineer to the Eastern Steam Ship following the resignation of Mr Kittoe and apologises that he has not given more warning of the change but that McLennan was able to join the Great Eastern sooner than anticipated. The letter requests Watt & Co do all they can to assist McLennan and assures them that Kittoe will finish the work he is currently engaged on and will help smooth over the transition between his employment and McLennan's.
