DescriptionWritten from the Principal Harbour Master's Office, St Katharine's Dock, London. The letter acknowledges Brunel's letter regarding the Eastern Steam Navigation Company's borrowing chains, anchors and lighters to be used during the launch of the Great Eastern Steam Ship and confirms that James has passed the letter to the Conservators of the River Thames who are pleased to agree to Brunel's terms.
