TitleLetter from R. Brotherhood to Isambard Kingdom Brunel
DescriptionWritten from the Railway Works, Chippenham, Wiltshire. The letter acknowledges receipt of Brunel's letter and explains that Brotherhood's workmen are unwilling to produce poor work but that he has arranged to suspend other work and has increased the amount of workmen working on Brunel's order so they will be able to finish Brunel's order in time. The letter also responds to Brunel's query about the screw ends of the bolts.
