DescriptionWritten from 10 Park Street, Westminster, London. The letter explains that although Beale & Co tried to visit Brunel that day, he had already left for the Millwall shipyard and they therefore took the copies of the invoices for an order of iron plates to John Yates at Gresham Street. The letter also confirms that Beale & Co have written to Pickfords & Co regarding the transport of the plates.
