| Title | Letter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to Henry Wollaston Blake |
| Description | Written from 18 Duke Street, Westminster, London. The letter criticises how slowly the workmen from Watt & Co are working and requests Blake speed up the work. The letter also criticises Blake's attitude and what Brunel perceives as his constant shrugging off of criticism and blame. Brunel complains that he has too much work to do himself to be constantly doing everything for everyone else and requests Blake immediately get the boilers finished and ensure that Brunel is given drawings of various parts that were not included in the original drawings or the constructed boilers. |
