TitleLetter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to T. E. Marsh
DescriptionWritten from 18 Duke Street, Westminster, London. The letter complains that Marsh has not told Brunel whether or not he can leave Bath but hopes that if Marsh can leave, he will visit the Blaenavon Iron Company and do what he can to hurry up the completion of Brunel's order for railway bars since Brunel thinks that only personal contact will get the true story as to what work is being done and when it is likely to be completed. Brunel asks Marsh to let him know as soon as possible whether Brunel needs to find another agent to visit the ironworks instead of Marsh and also reminds Marsh that the order was made through Mr Brotherhood and that Marsh will be working as an agent for Mr Brotherhood in this matter and also clarifies the quantities that Brunel requires.
