TitleLetter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to R. Brotherhood
DescriptionWritten from 18 Duke Street, Westminster, London. The letter explains the quantities of railway bars that have been rolled as part of the order Brunel made through Brotherhood and sets out the conditions that Brunel made the original order under in terms of the Eastern Steam Navigation Company's undertaking to pay for delivery and for any rails not returned in good condition after use and replacement of any damaged rails. The letter also sets out the costs for the Eastern Steam Navigation Company's renting the use of the railway bars. Brunel also requests Brotherhood to do what he can to speed up the delivery of the bars from the Blaenavon Iron Company.
