Description	Alphabetical list of correspondents to whom letters were sent along with the page numbers of the relevant copies of the correspondence. Three of the entries, under the heading for 'A' are in pencil ; all relating to correspondence on Folio 361 which is a circular letter to multiple recipients acknowledging receipt of their suggestions for floating the Eastern Steam Navigation Company's ship. There are 14 blank pages between the end of the previous contents index and this index of letters to recipients and two blank pages between the end of this index and the beginning of the next index, of letters from correspondents.
