Title | Letter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to John Scott Russell |
Description | Written from 18 Duke Street, Westminster, London. The letter reprimands Russell for sending a copy of the drawing for the masts and sails to Mr Ferguson and requests Russell ensure that Ferguson suspend all operations until he gets a correct copy of the drawing from Brunel and promises to explain in person how badly wrong Russell's drawing is and how much Brunel objects to Russell's draftsman superceding his ideas and directions. Below the signature of the letter is a memorandum titled Memorandum of Drawings of which I want copies which lists all the parts of the drawings of both the ship and the engines that Brunel wants copied out for him. |
