| Title | Letter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to William Rowett |
| Description | Written from 18 Duke Street, Westminster, London. The letter explains that Rowett has been unable to correspond with Captain Claxton about the masts and sails for the Eastern Steam Navigation Company's ship because Brunel originally started corresponding with Rowett under the mistaken impression that Rowett had patented a method of furling sails. Brunel comments that he really does not approve of the last plan for the masts that Rowett sent him. |
