Title | Letter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to John Scott Russell |
Description | Written from 18 Duke Street, Westminster, London. The letter sends William Jacomb's calculations of the amount of iron fixed or placed (rather than riveted) over the previous month to Russell and explains that it alters the total quantities of iron. The letter also sets out what Brunel believes these lists include and exclude. Brunel explains that he is lending Russell the papers as a general guide rather than to give any definite or final information as to the amount of work remaining to be done on the ship. |
