Title | Letter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to Mr J. Dickson of Russell & Co |
Description | Written from 18 Duke Street, Westminster, London. The letter explains that Brunel has been considering the mode of construction of the stern post and keel for the Eastern Steam Navigation Company's ship and is convinced that the method of construction that he suggested to Dickson is the right one and wants to ensure that Dickson thoroughly understands Brunel's ideas. The letter requests Dickson work out the stern post and keel so that they can look at it together and briefly explains what Brunel wants Dickson to do. There is a sketch on Folio 409 illustrating Brunel's ideas. |
