| Title | Letter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to William Rowett |
| Description | Written from 18 Duke Street, Westminster, London. The letter explains that Brunel has not received Rowett's sketch for the proposed setup for the masts and rigging of the Eastern Steam Navigation Company's ship and requests Rowett send him another copy. Brunel expresses his view that a bowsprit mast is uneccessary in a ship like his and explains his reasoning and his preferences for the organisation of the masts. |
