TitleLetter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to H. W. Blake
DescriptionWritten from 18 Duke Street, Westminster, London. The letter accompanied a modified drawing that Brunel was returning to Blake of a part of the screw engine for the Eastern Steam Navigation Company and also mentions Brunel's opinions and his preferences for the set screws, the use of lignum vitae and the construction of the studs for supporting the slide faces. Brunel also requests Blake send him the other drawings that he previously requested and questions the accuracy of the tracing of the air pumps.
