| Title | Letter from C. Claxton to Isambard Kingdom Brunel |
| Description | Written from London. The letter mentions that Claxton has managed to get hold of a tracing of the ship the Duke of Wellington and that someone will alter it to show the sails as well as a plan for a patented method of lowering boats. Claxton mentions that his only concern about the plan appears to have been remedied in the working model and in the actual trials. |
