DescriptionThe letter describes the effect of Robinson's solution on part of the iron hull of the ship the Pacific, in comparison with the rest of the hull, and it's use for preventing encrustation and fouling of the hull. A postscript explains that Claxton and Mr Crace discussed the design of the cabins on the Eastern Steam Navigation Company's ship.
