The Memorandum covers the masts, the experiment for heating steam, steam boats and life boats, cabins, bow steerer, the outside gangway, launching, the mode of supplying coal and checking expenditure, experiments on knocking down steam, the power for capstans, pumps etc and the arrangements for dealing with fire.
