| Title | Letter from George Biddle Airy to Isambard Kingdom Brunel |
| Description | Written from the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, London. The letter agrees with the chart divisions that Brunel suggested in his previous letter to Airy and suggests that it might be best for an astronomer to compute the key parts of the charts and then a hydrographer should fill in the rest of the chart but asks for some additional details and clarification about the specifics of the charts that Brunel previously had drawn up for the Great Western's voyage between Bristol and New York. The signature appears to use the spelling Airy but Brunel's previous letter is addressed to Professor Airy. |
