Title	Resolution from a meeting of the Court of Directors of the Eastern Steam Navigation Company
Description	Written from the Eastern Steam Navigation Company at 1 Royal Exchange Buildings, London. The report records the submission, by Brunel, to the meeting of the Court of Directors of the Eastern Steam Navigation Company of the tenders relating to the construction of the engines for the ship they are planning. The Court's subsequent resolution that Brunel's recommendation of John Scott Russell as builder of the paddle engine and contractor for the building of the ship and of James Watt and Co for the builder of the screw engine be accepted is also recorded.
