TitleLetter from Isambard Kingdom Brunel to John Scott Russell
DescriptionWritten from 18 Duke Street, London. The letter sends Russell a tracing of the final sketch for a part of the ship, possibly the rigging configuration, which Brunel likes more and more as he comes back to it and requests Russell have a drawing made at a larger scale so that two versions of the rig can be compared. Brunel also requests the the centre point of pressure can be identified at three different configurations of sail. The first page has been numbered by hand as Folio 433 and the facing page (Folio 432) is blank.
